Santa Maria Dei Fiori Cirella Church

The Church of Santa Maria dei Fiori, patron saint of Cirella, is a church with three naves built in 1634.

Inside the church there is a  wooden bust from the 1500s of the Madonna dei Fiori and a fragment of a 13th century sculpture reproducing a capital Corinthian, used as a paschal candle holder, of clear Byzantine inspiration.

The church was  restored in 1997,  you will see  the  monuments in black marble of the Duke Giuseppe Catalano-Gonzaga and his wife Leonilda De Novellis and the Duke Clemente Catalano-Gonzaga in polychrome marble with eagles on all four sides.
