Definition of Last Minute

We have done weddings within 3 days of Inital contacts by the couple.   In general, it takes us only a few days to get local permission from the town-halls for a destination wedding at the list of Venues below. However the overall approval time depends on the time it takes for each country to approve the wedding - see below. 


Who Can Get a LEGAL Last Minute Wedding in Italy?
Couples who want a non-legal wedding  -  OR - Couples who already have an Atto Notorio or, in the case of US Citizens, can get expedited approval.

• US Citizens -  see No Hassle Approval for US Citizens - a week's notice is typically fine (we have done them with three days notice) . This approval is limited to just a few towns in Southern Italy - see Venues below that accept no-hassle approval .
• UK Citizens - have to go through the full approval process (see regulations). This can be done (and has been done) in approximately one month.
• Other Countries  -  should contact their embassies in Italy to see if they offer expedited approval.

Where Can You Get Last Minute Weddings in Italy?
There are only a few towns in Italy where you can get last minute approval - Sapri and Castellabate
