Our Story

Tony and Michelle met through mutual friends at a Fourth of July party several years ago. Michelle was a student at Northern Arizona University and Tony was a student at the University of Oregon at the time that they met. They began talking more several months later through Snapchat because of a mutual love for the TV show "The Walking Dead". Michelle flew up from Flagstaff a few months later and they had their first date in Eugene which included a hike and Thai food.

Michelle and Tony officially became a couple soon after that and started to realize how serious they were becoming. Neither of them were entirely happy with their current college situation and both made the choice to transfer to Oregon State University in the Fall of 2015 to finish their schooling there. They loved their time in Corvallis and reminisce about it frequently.

They bonded over their love for "The Walking Dead", hiking, and being the life of the party and found a multitude of new friends in Corvallis. This past year Michelle finished her double degree in Education and Human Development and Family Sciences and Tony finished his degree in Political Science. Michelle and Tony currently live in Renton, Washington with their cat Madison and Michelle teaches in the nearby Issaquah School district.

Tony, with the help of his friends Sam Fusick and Sam Lockyear, pulled off a special proposal at one of the couple's favorite spots---Pacific City, Oregon. He planned the day to land on the two-year anniversary since they had started dating. They hiked out to a point that looked out over the ocean and there Tony popped the question. The Sam's were there to capture the moments on camera and to help the couple celebrate the momentous day.
